Partner with the best

As a Senior Project Engineer, you'll lead the execution of projects with medium-high technical complexity and intensity within all GTE market segments (Downstream, Industrial, Pipeline, Power Generation). These projects involve packages driven by electric motors (centrifugal or reciprocating compressors) and packages driven by Steam Turbines and Gas Turbines for mechanical drive and power generation applications.

You will be the coordinator of the entire Engineering project team and the contact point for customers and stakeholders, supporting project execution. You will supervise the quality and timeliness of projects and establish strong connections with Project Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer technical interfaces and communication
• Review and assess information from ITO needed to start the job
• Ensure understanding of customer needs within Baker Hughes IET Engineering
• Manage bill of materials in accordance with contractual requirements and internal procedures
• Identify customer requirements in technical specifications and ensure correct CTQ flow-down
• Attend quality meetings with customers and third parties, supporting the Project Quality Manager
• Review test specifications and participate in machinery tests with suppliers and clients

Fuel your passion

To succeed, you should have:

• A Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautic, or Chemical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in multidisciplinary roles within Oil & Gas environments
• Experience in machinery design, especially Steam Turbines, Gas Expanders, or Centrifugal Compressors
• Knowledge of plant philosophy and main components for power generation, petrochemical, and refinery plants
• Strong team management and project execution skills
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and willingness to travel
