Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced Product Marketing Contractor reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to bridge the gap between our business, marketing, UX, and product teams. This role is critical to translating ambitious growth objectives into actionable product marketing strategies and cross-functional initiatives and orchestrating impactful launch and engagement campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Translation of Business & Marketing Needs
  • Understand the strategic goals of the business, revenue, and marketing teams.
  • Translate goals into market insights, user journey improvements, and product marketing recommendations
  • Advocate for customer-centric improvements that align with our growth targets, especially in critical areas like investment onboarding.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with UX, design, and product teams to ensure a seamless in-app experience and user journey.
  • Facilitate alignment across teams on marketing-led product initiatives and user engagement priorities
  • Partner with growth and marketing teams to craft messaging and positioning for product launches.
  • Launch Planning & Execution
  • Define go-to-market strategies for new features and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling launch narratives and integrated campaigns.
  • Coordinate with product, compliance, and operations to ensure timely and compliant releases.
  • User Journey Optimization
  • Analyze drop-off rates (e.g., x% in the investment onboarding flow) and propose targeted interventions (reminders, notifications, etc.).
  • Develop and implement re-engagement strategies to recover lost users and improve conversion.
  • Own the feedback loop, using data to iterate on product features and marketing tactics.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting
  • Establish KPIs for product marketing initiatives and track performance against targets.
  • Deliver periodic reports to leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommended pivots.
  • Leverage customer insights and analytics to refine product marketing strategies on an ongoing basis.

Profile Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong.
  • Proven track record in product marketing at top fintechs during critical early-to-mid growth phases.
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure marketing and user insights inform product experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to optimize user journeys, re-engagement campaigns, and product marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional ability to interface with executive leadership, articulate complex product initiatives, and advocate for customer-centric priorities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment, and driving timely delivery in fast-paced fintech environments.
  • Someone who sees beyond campaigns, leveraging product features and user insights to drive significant growth.
  • A collaborator who can motivate diverse teams—from legacy banking professionals to brand designers—in a unified direction.
  • Thrives in a rapidly evolving fintech landscape, staying current on industry trends and innovative product marketing practices.
  • Prioritizes initiatives with the highest impact on user acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of new ideas and seeing them through from concept to launch.
