Atelier Biagetti is seeking a creative, yet pragmatic individual to develop designs and visuals.

A minimum of five years’ experience and a strong passion and understanding of design are required. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of design furniture, lighting, and homewares. The role primarily involves creating 3D models and technical drawings, and developing items specified for interior projects and installations. The position involves collaboration with the Atelier Biagetti team and our network of skilled makers, requiring prior experience in prototypes and small-to-medium production processes.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the design team to define the product vision and strategy
2. Conduct market research to understand trends and customer needs
3. Create sketches, models, and prototypes to communicate design ideas
4. Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions
5. Define design specifications and product requirements
6. Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure quality and timelines
7. Stay updated on materials, technologies, and trends—including AI tools applied to design

Essential experience & qualities

• Outstanding design and presentation skills
• Experience in producing furniture, lighting, and homeware
• Solid understanding of materials and fabrication processes
• Excellent 3D modeling and rendering skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
