Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, IT is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead local Supply Chain procurement, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality compliance. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work at Monfalcone, IT.

Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, expediting material, coordinating with project teams and engineering, and driving mitigation plans to keep manufacturing schedules on track.

Formación

• Degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Experience in manufacturing companies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in English and Italian; SAP knowledge is a plus.

About the role:

As a Senior Procurement Engineer you will lead procurement activities related to local Supply Chain, ensuring that you deliver components on time , on budget, and meeting all applicable quality requirements.

You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and be located at Monfalcone, IT.

Key Responsibilities:

Negotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers

Coordinate, maintain and expedite material deliveries to ensure you maintain manufacturing schedules

Interface between project teams including project management and engineering and the supply chain organization

Lead decision‑making, face potential issues and elaborate mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering

5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles

Previous experience in manifacturing companies

Technical drawings interpretation

Proficiency in English and Italian

We consider SAP knowledge a plus .

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The annual gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be from € 44.500,00 to € 57.000,00.
