The Wood Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for its Projects business line, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors.

Based in Corsico (Milan) with the option to work from home up to two days per week, the role involves process calculations, simulations and coordination with client teams and other disciplines.

Competenze

• MSc degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5–10 yrs experience in design of power generation, utilities and offsites.
• Knowledge of process simulators.
• Excellent technical background in the same role.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Availability to accept responsibilities.
• Flexibility to cope with project and company needs.
• Client focus and attitude to teamwork.

Mansioni

• Carry out process calculations, simulations, heat & mass balances, P&IDs and other process deliverables.
• Check and comment deliverables prepared by the process engineers on the project.
• Review and comment documents from Licensors and Vendors.
• Interact with other engineering disciplines to prepare process deliverables and ensure follow-up.
• Attend project reviews like P&ID, Hazid, Hazop, etc.
• Contribute to development of standardized tools and procedures.
• Coordinate the process team resources on the project.
• Coordinate with client personnel during project development.
