Competenze

We are seeking a Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering Graduate with proven experience as a Process Engineer and in Engineering within companies, preferably in the plastics sector. The candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for defining technical and plant improvement actions to optimize production processes and reduce inefficiencies, contributing to maintaining competitiveness and product development.

Knowledge of plastics transformation processes (weighing, mixing, extrusion) is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, analytical abilities, problem-solving attitude, planning and organizational skills, and a strong results orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance manager in drafting scheduled and extraordinary maintenance plans according to internal procedures;
  • Assist the maintenance manager in maintaining adequate spare parts inventory to ensure smooth operation of equipment and machinery;
  • Support the HSE department in managing external suppliers, including:
  • Requesting safety documents and, in coordination with HSE, preparing the DUVRI;
  • Assisting in supplier selection and verification of technical and professional requirements, monitoring ongoing activities for safety compliance;
  • Supporting RSPP and HSE personnel in planning interventions and inspections per current safety and prevention regulations;
  • Participating actively in the validation of plants, machinery, and production processes;
  • Promoting and collaborating on solutions to resolve production and quality issues;
  • Analyzing technical and production performance indicators to identify causes and propose solutions for deviations;
  • Collaborating to keep the Quality Management System (SGQ) updated and implementing new procedures related to safety and environment;
  • Ensuring compliance with directives regarding process parameters, quality, safety, and environmental impact;
  • Gathering information on the production process for defining technical, qualitative, and production specifications for new investments;
  • Participating in the implementation and management of the company's ERP system (SAP);
  • Managing the plant's CAPEX investment plan, from budget drafting to authorization requests, design, execution, and commissioning.

Requirements include a degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, knowledge of manufacturing processes, maintenance activities, PLC diagnostics, ISO13485 standard, and proficiency in Italian and English (at least B2 level).
