We are seeking a Senior Power Subsystem Engineer. As a Power Subsystem Engineer for space systems, your main activities will include:

1. Analyzing system-level power requirements, deriving lower-level requirements, and preparing relevant unit or subsystem specifications.
2. Defining the power system architecture based on received requirements.
3. Defining power interfaces among power items and with power users.
4. Performing analysis on power sources (e.g., solar arrays, batteries, fuel cells) for sizing and performance evaluation.
5. Defining performance, interface, and test requirements for the power system and sources.
6. Specifying and reviewing technical documentation such as subsystem/unit specifications, technical notes/analyses, test specifications, and reports.
7. Managing and/or participating in technical meetings with subcontractors and clients.

Educational Requirements: Degree in Electronics or equivalent.

Job Experience:

• Experience in power electronic system or power unit design.
• Strong knowledge of energy production using solar panels.
• Capability in power analysis and circuit simulation.
• Proficiency with software tools such as MS Office, Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic, Spice.

Languages:

• English (mandatory)
• French (optional)

Additional: Willingness to undertake medium business trips in Italy or abroad.
