A leading company in power electronics is seeking a Power Electronics Designer responsible for circuit design and development for motor controllers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, circuit design, and power simulations, and will work closely with firmware and hardware engineers to optimize performance.

Competenze

A Power Electronics Designer is responsible for designing, developing and testing power electronics circuits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and power simulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Circuit Design : Design and develop power electronics circuits for motor controllers.
  • Simulation and Optimization : Conduct simulations to optimize efficiency, thermal performance, and EMI compliance.
  • Integration : Work closely with firmware and hardware engineers to integrate control algorithms.
  • Prototyping and Testing : Perform prototyping, testing, and debugging of power electronic systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • Experience : Experience with power semiconductors (MOSFETs, IGBTs, GaN, and SiC).
  • Skillset : Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout (Altium, KiCad, or equivalent), and power simulations (LTspice, PLECS, etc.).
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of motor control techniques (FOC, PWM, etc.) and hands-on experience in laboratory testing, debugging, and failure analysis.
