Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer based in Italy to own and advance the CI/CD platform and cloud infrastructure. You will shape architecture for scalable, secure delivery, and drive modernization across Terraform, Terragrunt, Terramate, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.

You will work with EKS, ArgoCD, Helm, SOPS, and Backstage to improve developer productivity, observability, and platform reliability, while guiding incident response and cost-aware decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD systems, especially GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform; familiarity with Terragrunt/Terramate.
• Proven Kubernetes / EKS expertise, Helm, and GitOps with ArgoCD.
• Security-first mindset: IAM, RBAC, secrets management, least privilege, DevSecOps.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable platform architectures under evolving constraints.
• Proactive incident management and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the CI/CD platform and infrastructure delivery pipelines.
• Define architecture decisions balancing scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
• Develop and maintain IaC across AWS using Terraform/Terragrunt/Terramate.
• Design secure-by-default delivery pipelines and production approval workflows.
• Promote GitOps practices with ArgoCD and manage Kubernetes workloads on EKS.
• Improve observability with Grafana/Prometheus; contribute to Backstage tooling.
• Lead platform reliability initiatives and incident triage to prevent recurrence.
• Automate self-service tooling to empower engineering teams.
