Position Overview Join our flagship email team at team.blue! We are looking for a Senior Developer to enhance and extend the Roundcube Webmail, developing new features like AI-powered modules and plugins. This role is pivotal in shaping the group's flagship email platform and offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a highly experienced and motivated team, while enhancing and extending your expertise.

Role and Responsibilities

• Enhance the Roundcube Webmail, developing new features and plugins
• Work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the integration of AI modules and other innovative solutions
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable codethrough testing, debugging, and problem-solving
• Work in a cross-functional team, promoting effective team-work and strong collaboration
• Adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements

Required skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with astrong emphasis on PHP programming.
• Extensive experience in developing and delivering high-quality systems
• Advanced understanding of object-oriented programmingprinciples (OOP, OOD, SOLID), algorithms, data structures,and design patterns.
• Solid hands-on experience in writing unit, integration andend-to-end tests
• Practical experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to profileand debug software systems
• Experience building software collaboratively using pull

requests and code reviews.

• Deep understanding of versioning control tools (git)
• Proficiency in Italian and English.

Nice to have skills

• Previous experience with Roundcube Webmail
• Good knowledge of the most common email protocols (IMAP,POP3, SMTP) and prior experience working on an emailplatform.
• Additional experience with Java is considered a plus
• Knowledge of service deployments using Dockercontainers and K8s is a welcomed addition.
• Good understanding of security and performance

considerations.
