Senior Permitting Manager - Wind, Solar and P2X (BH-81249-1)

Salary : 83,000.00 EU per annum

Project Manager – development of wind, solar and P2X projects.

Our client is a multinational company that has become a leading developer and operator of photovoltaic and wind turbine projects, managing over 2GW of operating assets across Europe, including Italy.

We are currently looking for a Project Manager to deliver our project initiatives in the Italian market. This role offers the possibility of being the go-to person for all matters related to projects assigned to you, mainly at the development stage, while working in a fast-growth “startup environment” backed by a large international group.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Identifying, assessing, and facilitating new project development opportunities for wind, solar, BESS, and P2X.
• Performing feasibility and risk assessment studies on projects.
• Managing the budget and resources allocated to the assigned projects.
• Taking ownership of assigned projects throughout the permitting stage, ensuring that the pillars of “land, grid, and permit” are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Sourcing and proposing project acquisition opportunities, including participation in potential M&A transactions.
• Coordinating external project developers or professionals, assuring compliance with signed agreements and deliverables.
• Handing over and supporting the assigned projects’ construction phase.

The Mandatory Profile :

• At least two years of experience working with the development of renewable energy projects (mainly wind and / or solar).
• Fluent in Italian and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Verifiable experience in “greenfield” project development in Italy, spanning from land scouting to RTB phase, including knowledge of and compliance with national, regional, and local regulations, managing the grid connection request / acceptance process, negotiating / managing land contracts, etc.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on several projects in different regions simultaneously.
• Prepared to travel often, mainly in Italy.

Furthermore, experience / skills in managing the construction of utility-scale wind or PV plants until commissioning phase, storage, and P2X projects, and written and oral communication in other languages would be advantageous.
