Job summary

Aurora Energy Research in Rome, Italy, seeks a Senior Advisory Associate in Origination to help clients secure bankable route-to-market for PPAs, BESS, and hybrid assets. You will assess offtake strategies, run tenders, and support negotiations through to close.

You will combine strong commercial judgment with rigorous analysis, lead workstreams, prepare client-ready materials, and help grow Aurora's origination toolkit across Europe.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience in the electricity sector with renewable or storage projects.
• Strong understanding of European power markets and related revenue streams.
• Ability to translate market data into clear commercial recommendations for clients.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate route-to-market and offtake strategies for standalone and hybrid assets.
• Lead workstreams and small project teams to deliver rigorous commercial analysis.
• Prepare client-facing materials, proposal content, pitch decks and transaction deliverables.
• Support PPA, FPA, tolling, floor and hybrid contracts through to close.
• Contribute to development of Aurora's origination toolkit and playbooks across BESS and renewables.
