Qualifikationen

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Optics, Photonics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years designing and testing photonic/optical systems.
• Proficiency with PIC design tools and optical characterization.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

• Design, simulate, and optimize photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and optical modules for telecommunications and photonics applications.
• Develop and implement discrete optical setups for component and system-level testing and validation.
• Define, execute, and document optical test plans, methodologies, and data analysis.
• Utilize Python scripting to automate test environments and control lab instruments.
• Support transition of optical products from R&D to manufacturing with scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware, electronics, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve cross-disciplinary challenges.
