We are in search of a Senior Operations Manager - Italy to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, we aim to bridge our central operations team with our local Italian team. The ideal candidate is an operational expert with experience in service-oriented industries (e.g., delivery, shared mobility, or similar) who excels at managing processes and reporting. This is a field-oriented role requiring someone adaptable and ready to roll up their sleeves to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing operational teams and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
• Providing detailed reporting and liaising between local and central teams;
• Handling operational tasks with hands-on involvement and attention to detail;
• Regularly going to the field to report and resolve on-the-ground challenges;
• Coordinating and supporting local teams for consistent service delivery;
• Identifying and implementing improvements to operational processes;
• Ensuring operational metrics and goals are met, with regular progress reports.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in service-focused industries like delivery, mobility, or logistics;
• Strong understanding of post-sales service operations and workflow optimization;
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective liaising between local and global teams;
• Proficiency in English and Italian;
• Proven ability to manage teams and processes with hands-on involvement;
• Adaptability and proactivity, including fieldwork engagement;
• An analytical mindset with experience in tracking and improving operational KPIs;
• Knowledge of smart locker systems or logistics technology;
• Understanding of local logistics and post-sales service processes;
• Experience scaling operational processes in a growing company.
