We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Italy to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. This role aims to bridge our central operations team with our local Italian team. The ideal candidate is an operational expert with experience in service-oriented industries such as delivery or shared mobility, skilled in managing processes and reporting. This is a field-oriented role requiring adaptability and a hands-on approach to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational teams and processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide detailed reports and serve as the liaison between local and central teams.
• Handle operational tasks requiring close attention to detail and hands-on involvement.
• Regularly visit the field to report and resolve on-the-ground challenges.
• Coordinate and support local teams to deliver consistent service.
• Identify and implement improvements to operational processes in the field.
• Ensure operational metrics and goals are met, with regular progress reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in delivery, mobility, or logistics sectors.
• Strong understanding of post-sales service operations and workflow optimization.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian, with the ability to liaise effectively between teams.
• Proven team and process management skills, with readiness for hands-on involvement.
• Adaptability, proactivity, and willingness to engage in fieldwork.
• Analytical skills with experience in tracking and improving operational KPIs.
• Knowledge of smart locker systems or logistics technology is a plus.
• Understanding of local logistics and post-sales service processes.
• Experience scaling operational processes in a growing company.
