Azienda Anonima cerca un Senior Infrastructure Engineer per guidare la progettazione, evoluzione e gestione dell’infrastruttura software-defined che alimenta cluster HPC e AI di grandi dimensioni. OpenStack è la piattaforma primaria, con responsabilità su Linux, Kubernetes e sistemi bare-metal.

Il candidato ideale ha profondità di ingegneria di sistema, capacità di risolvere problemi complessi e di guidare iniziative tecniche, con esperienza in OpenStack a scala multi‑site o simili ambienti

Competenze

5+ years hands-on engineering in Linux systems, cloud architecture, network engineering, and complex production systems.
3+ years OpenStack production experience at scale or equivalent large-scale production platform experience.

Mansioni

Owning architecture and day-2 operations of OpenStack control planes for hundreds to 1000+ nodes, with uptime, capacity, performance, and security KPIs.
Diagnosing and resolving complex cross-layer production issues down to root cause using strace, perf, and packet capture; reading service source code and contributing fixes upstream.
Designing and operating advanced networking (Neutron OVN/OVS, SR-IOV, VF-LAG, DPDK, BGP-EVPN) and guiding architecture decisions with senior team members.
Coordinating deployments and upgrades across geographically distributed sites, including cross-site data replication and disaster recovery.
Developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines (Ansible, OpenTofu/Terraform, Helm) with GitOps-style production change management.
Producing runbooks and RCA reports for control-plane upgrades, patching, and migrations.
Mentoring engineers and collaborating with Presales to design end-to-end systems from hardware to software stack.
