Azienda Anonima in Italia cerca un Senior Infrastructure Engineer per guidare l'architettura e l'operatività di OpenStack e infrastrutture cloud su cluster HPC/AI. Il ruolo richiede leadership tecnica e capacità di risolvere problemi complessi in ambienti di produzione.

Responsabilità chiave includono la gestione di control planes, automazione IaC (Ansible, OpenTofu/Terraform, Helm), progettazione di reti ad alte prestazioni e mentoring del team. Laurea avanzata e 5+ anni di esperienza richiesti.

Competenze

5+ years hands-on engineering in Linux systems, cloud architecture, networks and complex production systems.
3+ years OpenStack production experience at scale or equivalent.
2+ years direct vendor escalation accountability in enterprise environments.

Mansioni

Own the architecture and day-2 operations of OpenStack control planes for clusters of hundreds of nodes with growth to 1000+ nodes; monitor uptime, capacity, performance and security.
Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across kernel, systemd, storage and network stacks using strace, perf, packet captures and code inspection.
Design and operate networking for HPC/AI workloads (Neutron OVN/OVS, SR-IOV, VF-LAG, DPDK, BGP-EVPN) and drive architecture decisions.
Coordinate deployments and upgrades across geographically distributed sites, including data replication and disaster recovery.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines (Ansible, OpenTofu/Terraform, Helm) with GitOps review for production changes.
Produce technical runbooks and RCA reports for upgrades, patches and migrations.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with Presales to design end-to-end systems.
