SSE plc is expanding its renewables footprint in Italy, seeking an experienced Senior Development Project Manager to lead multi-project wind development across the country. You will guide projects from early identification through permitting, investment approval, and Ready-to-Build to final decision, while mentoring a high-performing team and coordinating with authorities and partners.

• Proven track record developing utility-scale onshore wind in Italy.
• Experience guiding projects through permitting and investment milestones.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with authorities, landowners and partners.

Mansioni

• Lead development of multiple onshore wind projects in Italy from early stage to Ready-to-Build and FID.
• Build and coach a high-performing team of developers.
• Manage relationships with authorities, landowners, communities, grid operators and partners.
• Oversee cross-functional workstreams including technical, environmental, commercial and financial aspects.
• Support growth via acquisitions, partnerships and strategic input into portfolio decisions.
