A leading digital solutions company is seeking a Senior Murex Consultant in Italy to lead Murex module implementations in the financial sector. Ideal candidates have over 5 years of experience in Murex projects, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. A hybrid work model is available. Immediate start preferred.

We are looking for a skilled professional to join a dynamic and qualified team working on strategic projects for clients in the financial sector. The environment is stimulating, innovation-driven, and focused on professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of Murex modules related to Integration, Reporting, and Market Data, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical architecture.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams, facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Support junior consultants through coaching and knowledge transfer, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions through rigorous testing, documentation, and adherence to best practices and governance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience of at least 5 years on Murex projects
• Deep knowledge of at least one of the following modules: Integration, Reporting, Market Data
• Good knowledge of financial products (derivatives, bonds, equity, …) and trade life cycle
• Familiarity with tools such as MXML, Datamart, RTBS, MDRS, Market Data loaders
• Experience in migration, upgrade and/or implementation projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
• Strong functional and technical analysis capabilities
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Experience in cloud or DevOps environments
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Python)
• Murex or ITIL certifications
• Knowledge of similar platforms (Kondor, Calypso, Sophis, …)
