Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage engineering activities on a construction project, coordinating design from onsite installation through to commissioning. You will ensure alignment with our vision and values while collaborating with the design team, contractors and internal project teams.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ project engineering experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Experience delivering small to medium mechanical projects (Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre-type projects).
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all design documents and drawings.
• Attend project handover meetings and review specifications.
• Evaluate value engineering or cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare coordinated drawings covering mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, structural and architectural elements.
• Review drawings for compliance and technical submittals.
