Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering in Italy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on a construction project, coordinating with BIM, site installation and commissioning to ensure quality, safety and on-time delivery. You will work with a vibrant, agile team to develop design deliverables, manage submittals and mentor junior staff as part of our career development programmes. Excellent package on offer with room for negotiations.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience with LV and MV systems in building services and data centre environments.
• Knowledge of current Design Guides, Codes of Practice, ETCI/BS7671, EN Standards and IEC Standards.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications.
• Validate cable sizing and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Ensure technical assessments are completed as required and issues resolved without delay.
• Compile and issue electrical technical submittals.
• Manage submittals through the approvals process and track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment.
