RD&A Senior Technologist for Meat and Meat Alternatives Business Unit

Offerta

1. Develop, validate, and prepare application samples for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with customer briefs, cost efficiency, and legal/compositional standards.
2. Build strong relationships with R&D teams at key customers, providing technical support, concept presentations, and high-quality sample delivery.
3. Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements and identify new business opportunities.
4. Assist customers with technical challenges, offering innovative solutions and troubleshooting application concerns.
5. Develop cutting-edge solutions that align with customer needs, market trends, and regulatory standards, ensuring all products meet country-specific legal requirements.
6. Drive continuous innovation and expand business opportunities by positioning Kerry as a preferred partner in customers' R&D organizations.
7. Proactively manage internal and external project pipelines, leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure successful execution.
8. Maintain a strong technical understanding of customer manufacturing processes, NPD systems, product formulations, and market trends.

Competenze ed esperienza

1. Education: BSc in Food Science or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 7 years in product development, preferably in processed meat, poultry, fish, meat alternatives, or prepared meals, or in an ingredient company specializing in these areas.
3. Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of meat product applications, ingredient manufacturing, and processing, including process aids and functional ingredients.
4. Languages: Fluent in Italian and English; French and/or Spanish is a plus.

Technical & Business Skills:

1. Proven ability to plan and execute technical work aligned with business strategy.
2. Experience in customer presentations and technical support.
3. Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
5. Self-motivated, organized, and a team player.
6. Proficient in IT tools and software.
7. Travel Requirement: Willing to travel 20-50% of the time to customer sites locations.
