About the job :

The West Europe Marketing Science team provides consulting and advanced statistics across the NIQ SA&I portfolio. We act as consultants for statistical/technical advice, contribute to client proposals, and support research teams in designing and executing client projects. The team, spread across Europe, shares the same vision to learn, develop, and share cutting-edge methods.

Reporting to the head of Brand & Media Marketing Science, you will leverage your strong background in statistics and data science to manage complex analytic projects. Your role involves discussing findings with clients and researchers, recommending methodologies, and presenting analyses regularly.

We seek candidates experienced in applying advanced analytics to survey research and data sources, with expertise in Regression, Factor analysis, Mapping, Bayesian Networks, econometric modeling, segmentation, data integration, and marketing mix modeling.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, proactive, creative, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver high-quality analytics projects meeting stakeholder and client requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
  • Manage own workload and projects effectively
  • Understand quantitative research techniques and propose appropriate solutions
  • Stay updated on new techniques and external developments
  • Ensure quality in all documentation
  • Represent NIQ’s Marketing Science expertise at conferences and workshops

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field; PhD is a plus
  • 5+ years experience in a market research agency
  • Expertise in modeling and statistics
  • Knowledge of survey/polling statistics, econometric modeling, and causal inference
  • Experience in pricing research, brand management, digital behavioral analysis, segmentation, media effectiveness
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and related tools
  • Experience in data visualization and communicating results
  • Basic knowledge of Big Data Analytics, cloud environments, SQL, and VBA
