We are seeking a Senior Marketing & Communication Associate ( f / m / d) for our Institutional Division. This role is tailored for a visionary associate eager to shape marketing communication and execute tactics for a diverse clientele including full-service restaurants catering businesses the lodging industry long-term care homes multi-service providers and marine businesses. Join us in driving excellence and innovation within these key segments as we continue to elevate our customer experience.

Role Expectations

As the Senior Marketing & Communication Associate for the Institutional business Region South & Switzerland you will demonstrate :

• Marketing Executional Excellence & Communication Focus : You will drive brand consistency and market visibility across Southern Europe (France Italy and Spain) with a dedicated focus on supporting Switzerlands marketing strategy. Youll lead the execution of marketing initiatives aligned with business goals ensuring all communications reflect a unified ONE Ecolab identity and leverage customer and sales insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Content Creation & Data Analysis : You will create and manage content for social media websites and internal platforms ensuring alignment with Ecolabs brand voice. A key focus will be on digital marketing particularlySearch Engine Advertising (SEA)andlead generation. Youll manage digital tools track campaign performance and optimize tactics based on data insights.
• Event Management & Reporting : You will support the planning and execution of marketing and networking events to showcase Ecolabs value proposition. This includes managing logistics budgets and stakeholder coordination. Youll also prepare reports on campaign performance share insights with the marketing team and regional sales leaders and demonstrate marketings impact on business growth.
• Collaboration & Innovation : You will contribute to annual planning support product lifecycle initiatives and drive local launch initiatives and tactical improvements. Working cross-functionally youll help align communication strategies share best practices and support regional marketing projects.
• Sustainability Ambassador : You will champion sustainability by integrating environmentally responsible practices into marketing communications and promoting Ecolabs commitment to environmental stewardship.
• Customer Engagement : You will build strong relationships with customers and sales teams gather insights and translate them into impactful marketing initiatives. Youll also support local leadership acting as the single point of contact for the sales leadership team in Switzerland supporting them in driving new business development.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with :

• Bachelors degree and five to six years of professional experience or masters degree with three to four years of experience.
• Proven experience in developing and executing impactful marketing communication and launch plans with a strong focus on audience relevance and measurable ROI
• Solid knowledge of digital marketing including content creation social media and especially Search Engine Advertising (SEA). Demonstrated ability to drive lead generation and optimize digital performance through data insights.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills assertive yet empathetic communication style and a beginners mindset that embraces learning and innovation.
• Effective time management multitasking ability and a structured detail-oriented approach to work.
• Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus particularly for supporting diverse markets across Southern Europe such as Italian Spanish & French.
