YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As Senior Market Development Manager, you will lead the local operations team and be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with local decision makers and public transport authorities. You will work to develop operational and commercial performance in the region. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will collaborate closely with the local Policy and Operations teams and other central stakeholders to expand Voi’s presence in existing and new markets. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with key city stakeholders and local ecosystems (e.g., public transport authorities, associations, and other companies), leading events, and driving initiatives in collaboration with the local Public Policy and Partnerships teams to improve performance and increase our footprint.
• Representing Voi to towns and cities considering shared micromobility services and participating in pre-tender and tender processes to establish our position as the preferred provider.
• Serving as the point of contact and regularly updating city stakeholders on contractual compliance, implementation, and the impact of solutions addressing city concerns and complaints from user support teams.
• Using data and analytics for in-depth market research to identify opportunities and initiatives for operational efficiency and market performance improvement.
• Managing city-level P&Ls with a clear understanding of all components and key financial drivers.
• Collaborating with the central Growth and Product teams on pricing and product strategies to optimize growth and profitability, aligning with city and policy stakeholder goals.
• Supporting and continuously collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for improvement and lead projects to implement necessary changes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We’re seeking an analytical and structured business professional capable of building and managing relationships with external stakeholders and proactively strengthening our footprint in a fast-paced, dynamic industry. The ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field
• Professional fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
• 5+ years of experience in policy, operations, or strategy in a fast-paced environment
• Experience negotiating and managing external stakeholders such as partners, government, and media
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects considering diverse stakeholder needs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
• Proficiency in analyzing large data sets using Google Sheets or Excel
• Experience working with P&L, budgets, and business cases
