Position Overview

Abbott Diabetes Care, based in Wiesbaden or one of the EU BIG 5, is seeking a Senior Market Access Manager EMEAP (m/f/d).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EMEA market access strategies for the ADC product portfolio, ensuring readiness across all markets.
• Support product differentiation by adapting global value stories to local healthcare contexts to expand access and maintain pricing integrity.
• Design and execute innovative reimbursement mechanisms, focusing on new customer segments, products, and digital health solutions.
• Partner with payers to develop integrated digital solutions and value propositions.
• Negotiate local reimbursement expansions, analyzing economic models in collaboration with finance.
• Travel approximately 20%, depending on location.

Qualifications

• Required: Advanced Degree in Science, Economics, Law, or related fields.
• Preferred: Medical Degree, Master’s in Market Access, Public Health, Health Economics, or Health Policy.

Experience

• 5-7 years in reimbursement and market access in pharma/medical devices, payers, or healthcare consulting.
• Experience in local market access is a plus.
• Knowledge of diabetes and blood glucose measurement is beneficial.
• Proven success in reimbursement strategies and product launches.
• Strong negotiation, project management, and evidence-based medicine skills.
• Ability to execute plans collaboratively and effectively communicate at all levels.
