Michael Kors is seeking a Senior Manager Store Design to lead the end-to-end design process for global stores, pop-ups, and luxury environments. This role requires over 10 years of experience in fashion retail design.

The candidate will manage design responsibilities, teamwork, and oversee detailed drawing production while ensuring compliance with budget and branding guidelines.

The position offers a hybrid work mode and requires availability for travel.

As a Senior Manager Store Design, you will lead the end-to-end design of global stores, pop‑ups, showrooms, hotels, and luxury apartments, overseeing all phases from preliminary concepts to final execution in line with brand vision, budget, and timing.

Design Responsibilities

• Preliminary Design production (2D and 3D) according to commercial, budget and timing constraints and briefs
• Design presentation to prepare submissions to CEO and Creative Director
• Final design production (2D and 3D) following CEO/Creative Director guidance, feasibility checks and budget constraints
• Construction Design drawings check and follow‑up, quality check leadership, including virtual walkthroughs and site visits
• Value engineering design solutions in case of extra‑budget
• Lighting design and architectural concept ideas, global check and coordination
• Feedback after store opening with various stakeholders
• Store concept evolution and production of new moods and aesthetics
• Materials research
• Luxury field & stores competitor research and benchmarking
• Prototypes coordination and approval
• Weekly conversations and alignment with visual merchandising and store planning project management team

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a leader of design within luxury environments, ideally fashion retail
• 2D and 3D drawing drafting, including renderings, hand sketching and photo‑shopping skills
• Full knowledge of Adobe InDesign, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, Illustrator
• English language proficiency and international experience
• Availability to travel when/if needed
