Senior Manager - Product Development & Product Materials Leathergoods

For an international and listed company, we are looking for the Senior Manager - Product Development & Product Materials Leathergoods.

Reporting to the Head of Regional Sourcing (EU) Accessory, the resource supervises all the working steps of the raw materials, PD and Industrialization to guarantee the final quality according to the deadlines.

He/She will coordinate with the merch team to evaluate and avoid any possible issues, respect calendar deadlines and get the material and proto samples launched to respect them.

Moreover, the candidate, controlling the supply chain, will be able to collaborate with Designers to choose raw materials and during the product development process, keeping monitoring the development timing.

He/She will deal with costing and pricing activities negotiating costing with vendors and work with them.

In addition, the candidate will organize product reviews with Designers/PD/QA Team and Vendors, will coordinate the work with the production team and will follow the industrialization process.

The resource has more than 10 years' experience in accessories product development and proven knowledge of leather, fabrics and accessories construction. Strong communication skills, problem solving, result-oriented, capacity of managing multiple tasks at the same time, teamwork, and leadership are required.

Fluent English is mandatory.

The research is aimed at both sexes L. 903/77 e L. 125/91.
