A global workforce solutions company is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to implement maintenance, mechanical integrity, and reliability processes. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in communication and problem-solving. This role entails maintaining compliance with safety regulations and overseeing preventive maintenance at the facility.

Job Title : Senior Maintenance Engineer

Location : LaPorte, TX

Job Summary

Implements the plant maintenance, mechanical integrity, and reliability processes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the LaPorte site maintenance, mechanical integrity, and reliability processes using RAGAGEP procedures for all site assets in this PSM-covered facility.
  • Maintain full compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management requirements for Mechanical Integrity processes. Serve as the key contact for internal and external compliance audits of the Mechanical Integrity program.
  • Create programs, author procedures, and conduct training to ensure processes meet or exceed compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain all equipment design and preventive maintenance records for all assets.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance inspections, sign off as the PSM equipment owner, and make engineering recommendations for equipment deficiencies, ensuring documentation accuracy and availability.
  • Manage the documentation concerning equipment status and PM extensions in the electronic maintenance management system.
  • Coordinate and communicate the PM inspection process, including status tracking and reporting.
  • Work may include non-standard schedules, including holidays and weekends.
Education and Experience
  • BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical integrity, or reliability roles.
  • Ability to engage effectively at all levels and drive change.
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
