Job summary

Haier Europe, a leader in home appliances, seeks a Senior Logistic Controller to lead cost visibility and analytics across logistics. You will partner with Central Logistics and Markets to design tools, monitor MEC, forecast monthly logistics costs, and align with group policies in a complex, international setting.

The role requires a university degree and 7–10 years in integrated supply chain controlling, with strong Excel, SAP, HFM, and Oracle EPM knowledge.

What you will do

Supporting integrated supply chain Controlling function, business partnering with Central Logistic Organization, in charge of developing and deploying a new set of tools for financial analyses on primary and secondary logistic performance, capable to bring the organization to the next level in terms of data visibility and capability to drive business decisions. The position encompasses high level of exposure at top management level, requires strong analytical skills, capability to read the external environment and capability to influence while being a strong and reliable business partner driving actions and supporting the strategy.

What you need to succeed

Main activities:

• Contribute to the design and development of a new financial monitoring framework for logistics costs, aimed at improving cost visibility, transparency, and performance analysis;
• Drive process improvement on Logistic Area in cooperation with Central Logistic team;
• Guarantee the right representation of Logistic cost inside the product cost;
• Collaborate with Markets, Product Lines, and Central Functions to identify improvement opportunities and define productivity and cost-efficiency initiatives;
• Guarantee the right level of visibility to the corporation about Logistic performance;
• Month End Closure (MEC) Reporting Process: Logistic variances;
• Monthly forecast;
• Coordinate Budget process and Logistic Standard costs calculation;
• Drive visibility on business opportunities through one-off analyses and business cases;
• Enable C-SOX requirements adherence and full compliance to group policies;
• Develop clear guidelines and internal policies capable to drive standardization of tools and processes;
• Providing cross functional support and guidance to Group integrated supply chain controller;
• Participation in regular meetings within the scope of supporting logistic transformatio;.
• Participate in cross functional meetings with the aim to support the finance transformation journey.

Additional:

• Good knowledge of accounting and strong 360 degrees understanding of procurement, logistic and manufacturing operations
• Good knowledge of internal control setup;
• Ability to simplify complex processes and drive implementation;
• Strong leadership skills to drive execution;
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and drive projects to completion;
• Strong resilience, ability to challenge status quo, initiate and drive continuous change, and a spirit of evolution;
• University degree in Economics, Engineering management;
• Integrated Supply Chain controlling experience 7/10 years, international profile;
• Strong functional independence in the way of working and ability to partner with its stakeholders;
• Good knowledge of excel, SAP, HFM (preferred), Data warehousing, Oracle EPM suite);
• Management Experience in Manufacturing Environment (Preferred);
• Good interpersonal and networking skills, both within the finance community and the Function of reference, as well as with other members of the broader team;
• Ability to operate in a matrix organization;
• Results focused, solution-oriented with a proactive and positive approach;
• Excellent organizational and planning skills;
• Willingness for evolution within an international finance community.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Employment Type: Permanent Contract; Full-Time

National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL): Metalmeccanici Privati

Minimum Gross Annual Salary: € 50.000

The position includes access to an individual or collective variable incentive scheme based on the achievement of predefined performance objectives (KPIs); alternatively, any additional variable compensation components or benefits will be governed by the applicable company policies.
