Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in System Operations or related role in high-demand industries such as broadcast, media, or digital video.
• Advanced Linux administration skills and hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Rudder, Chef, Puppet).
• Proficient in monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus) and observability practices.
• Strong mentoring abilities and document-driven approach to processes and best practices.
• Experience with open-source storage (Ceph, ZFS) and network routing (FRR, Quagga).
• Experience in capacity planning and scaling infrastructures with automation and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead provisioning and configuring Linux-based systems across multiple server roles.
• Automate setups and standardize configurations using tools like Rudder, Chef, or Puppet.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and observability with Zabbix/Prometheus; manage alerts and performance tuning.
• Mentor junior engineers and share troubleshooting approaches and best practices.
• Lead capacity planning and align infrastructure resources with demand and growth; manage storage (Ceph/ZFS) and networking (FRR/Quagga).
