Based in Milan or Rome, the role involves managing site operations, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of solar construction experience and is fluent in Italian and English. This position offers the chance to contribute to Italy’s energy transition.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in solar PV construction, ideally utility-scale projects.

A highly respected and structured Independent Power Producer (IPP) is seeking an experienced Project Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects in Northern Italy. Based in Milan or Rome, you will report directly to the Head of Construction and play a key role in managing medium-voltage (MV) solar projects from pre-construction through to commissioning. These sites range from 5MW to 10MW in size.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring project milestones, quality, safety, and budget targets are met.
• Manage subcontractors, site teams, and construction partners.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and permitting teams.
• Monitor progress and report regularly to the Head of Construction.
• Ensure compliance with Italian construction regulations and grid connection requirements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in solar PV construction, ideally utility-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV electrical systems.
• Experience working for an IPP.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Northern Italy.
