The role involves drafting technology contracts, collaborating with various teams to mitigate legal risks, and ensuring compliance with new laws. Ideal candidates will have strong negotiation skills and in-house legal experience.

In this position you will…

As a senior member of bolttech’s Office of General Counsel - European Division, you will support the Director for Legal and Regulatory, Europe and the European legal entities in achieving the ambitious growth plans of bolttech in Europe.

You will be responsible for…

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of technology contracts, including software licensing, SaaS agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Working on other types of commercial agreements
• Collaborating with technology, data science, information security, tech risk, and business teams to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with new technologies, product development, and digital transformation initiatives
• Delivering business-strategy-aligned legal services with agility
• Identifying and resolving legal and regulatory issues to facilitate business growth
• Working closely with Legal & Compliance team members and Group stakeholders / functions to implement regional and Group policies and standards and report on, escalate and mitigate risks and issues
• Promoting awareness of new laws and regulations in the technology space

You will require the following qualifications and skills

• Fluent in English and Italian or German - both verbal and written
• Experienced qualified lawyer with a minimum five years of post-qualification experience
• In-house experience, with significant exposure to SAAS, technology platforms
• Financial services and regulated environment experience desirable
• Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative, growth mindset team player who is willing to assist with a variety of tasks
