CELINE, part of the LVMH Group, is seeking a Senior Product Development professional to lead the full lifecycle for Leather Goods in Italy. You will bridge Design, Merchandising, and technical teams to deliver high-quality products within seasonal calendars.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in luxury leather goods, fluent English, and strong PLM/Excel skills, coordinating prototyping, materials, BOMs, and supplier management.

Competenze

• Minimum 6 years of experience in product development within Luxury Leather Goods.
• Excellent command of English (mandatory); knowledge of French is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Centric PLM and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to adapt language when dealing with creative teams versus technical artisans.
• Proactive mindset to quickly resolve technical issues or supply delays during prototyping.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks under strict fashion calendar deadlines.
• Resilience and stress tolerance and flexibility to manage last-minute design changes.
• Natural capacity to foster trust and long-term collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.

Mansioni

• Interpret sketches and creative inputs from the Design Office.
• Collaborate with pattern makers to translate ideas into clear technical information.
• Oversee prototyping and sample creation with the internal atelier.
• Manage external suppliers for sample production within deadlines.
• Collect technical feedback on prototypes to optimize subsequent phases.
• Enter technical data into the PLM system to track collection progress.
• Compile technical sheets for prototypes and samples.
• Define technical combinations and material pairings in the system.
• Verify Bills of Materials (BOM) for samples to ensure cost accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to the development calendar deadlines.
• Monitor the availability and arrival of required materials with the Research team.
• Prepare product reviews in advance to gather improvement points.
• Act as the key point of contact for Design, Marketing, and Operations.
