DLA Piper LLP in Milan is seeking a Lawyer or Senior Lawyer to join the Employment team, supporting senior associates and partners in advising on a wide range of employment matters for leading national and international clients across major industries.

You will advise on general and strategic employment matters, assist on contentious issues, and manage relations with trade unions and social security law matters. The role requires strong Italian qualification and relevant experience.

Formación

• Italian qualified lawyer with strong academic results.
• PQE in employment law is 3–4 years for the right level of expertise.
• Solid background in employment and labour law matters.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of client service.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and a varied workload.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and advising on a broad range of strategic employment law risks and issues.
• Drafting, advising on and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements and related general commercial agreements involving employment matters.
• Undertaking complex and routine employment law cases including compliance, internal investigations and disciplinary matters.

We are currently recruiting a talented Lawyer or Senior Lawyer to join our Employment team in Milan, who will be supporting senior associates and partners of the team in advising clients on a wide range of employment matters. You will be advising leading national and international companies operating in the most prominent industries on a wide range of employment matters including general advice, both ordinary and strategic; assistance on contentious matters and the management of the relationship with trade unions; social security law.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Managing and advising on a wide range of strategic employment law risks and issues


• Drafting, advising on and negotiating, as required, a variety of agreements, including contracts of employment, settlement agreements and supporting general commercial agreements involving employment matters


• Undertaking complex and routine legal cases involving employment matters including compliances, internal investigations and disciplinary matters

About you

• Italian qualified lawyer with great academic results


• We do not set up upper or lower limits of PQE for our vacancies. However, we think that candidates having between 3 and 4 PQE in the employment law sector are likely to have the right level of expertise to undertake the role


• Solid background in employment and labour law matters


• Excellent communication skills


• Commitment to delivering a high level of client service
