Qualifications

• More than 20 years of experience in semiconductor analytical laboratories.
• Extensive expertise in SAM analysis, 2D X-Ray inspection, and 3D X-Ray inspection.
• Strong knowledge of advanced fault isolation techniques including Thermos, PHEMOS and OBIRCH.
• Experience with chemical lab activities and acid etching processes.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor package structures, SiC and GaN technologies.

We are looking for a highly skilled Laboratory Specialist with extensive experience in advanced **non-destructive** analysis and fault isolation techniques for power semiconductor devices and power modules. The ideal candidate has more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor analytical laboratories, with recognized expertise in SAM, X-Ray inspection, and advanced fault isolation methodologies. The role is focused on supporting R&D activities for package and power module development, with particular attention to SiC and GaN technologies. The candidate will support advanced analytical investigations, technology characterization, reliability activities, and prototype evaluations within laboratory and R&D environments.Job Location:Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in North Italy.
