ams OSRAM is seeking an senior validation engineer to lead the bring-up and verification of RF, HF, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital ICs. You will design validation plans and characterize performance across PVT while driving root-cause analysis to resolve silicon issues.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support customer evaluations, qualification activities, and technical presentations, while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor validation, characterization, test, or product engineering.
• Proven track record supporting IC developments from first silicon through production.
• Experience with broadband optical communication systems and SerDes interfaces.

• Lead bring-up and validation of RF, HF, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital ICs.
• Develop and execute validation plans to verify product specs.
• Characterize device performance across process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
• Drive root-cause analysis and resolve silicon issues.
• Define validation methodologies, measurement strategies, and best practices.
• Establish correlation between simulations, models, and silicon measurements.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, layout, packaging, product engineering, and manufacturing teams.
• Support customer evaluations, qualification activities, and technical presentations.
• Mentor junior validation and test engineers.
