GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an Aero Alliance Repair Engineer – L5 Component Repair to oversee one or more component families within AAJV Global Shops Network. The role evolves from hands-on learning to technical ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

You will support qualification of repair vendors, develop standard process routes, and coordinate with engineering and operations for rollout of new L5 repair technologies; travel worldwide is required.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Willing to bubble assignment in Avenza/Firenze/Port Klang for on-the-job training.
• Willing to relocate near Mesagne Site (if not already living there).
• Previous knowledge/experience of Aero-derivative gas turbine products, LM2500/LM6000, is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with local and remote teams.
• Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Full availability to travel worldwide for business purposes.

Mansioni

• Introduce new component repair processes in AAJV Global Shops Network.
• Provide technical support for repair qualifications of repair Vendors.
• Develop standard repair routers and diagrams; update documents and QMS/PLM.
• Define work instructions and fixtures with Manufacturing Engineers.
• Coordinate with Process Engineers, PMO and Shop Operations for rollout and industrialization of new L5 repair technologies.
• Act as technical owner of component repair in production within AAJV Central Engineering, including evaluation of inspection results and defining scope of work.
• Work with Shop Operations to define CTQs and BI metrics for analysis and recovery planning.
• Identify data-driven opportunities for repair productivity and cost reduction.
• Support shop NCR process.
