Chef de Partie - Italian Restaurant in Marbella, Spain

This is a permanent position for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our client's team at an Italian restaurant chain in Marbella, Spain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation and cooking in the hot section, including preparing food before meal service begins, setting up and stocking kitchen stations, cooking food and plating cooked food, supporting the Head and Sous Chef in delivering consistently high quality food, ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality, completing assigned prep work duties efficiently, keeping workstations and equipment clean, collecting daily feedback, and reporting issues as they arise.

Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of kitchen experience in a fine casual dining concept, preferably Italian cuisine
  • At least one additional year of experience in a Demi Chef position or equivalent
  • Proven record of kitchen and staff management with good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Qualification from Culinary school
  • Knowledge of HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety Protocols
  • Upper intermediate level in English is mandatory
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
