Why This Role is Exciting:

As a Key Account Manager, you will play an important role in Alibaba’s mission to change the e-commerce experience. You will work on growing and developing relationships with current clients, while also finding new business opportunities by creating and putting effective strategies into action. Your role will be key to building strong relationships with brands and sellers, making sure everything runs smoothly, and helping to grow the business on our platform. The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define and identify suitable brands and sellers according to category strategy.
  2. Negotiate with brands and sellers and invite them to start their business with us.
  3. Operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders and help accounts have a smooth daily operation on the platform and grow their business.
  4. Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts and internal partners.
  5. Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  6. Preferred category: Fashion, Electronics, Home & Garden, FMCG.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
  2. 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  3. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and data-oriented.
  4. Fluent in English as a working language.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
