accesso seeks a Senior Java Developer in Milan to join the Horizon ticketing and visitor management team. You’ll maintain and enhance existing code, collaborate across engineering, and own features from development through production deployment.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, JSP, SQL, and cloud approaches; experience with Tomcat, AWS, and CI/CD helps. The position is office-based with one remote day per week and up to 20% travel globally.

Competenze

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Java or similar OO language (like C#).
• Experience with JSP technologies.
• Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL), including writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud computing methodologies like high availability, scalability, fault-tolerance and resiliency.
• Familiarity with XML and JSON.
• Experience writing unit tests for Java applications.
• Ability to work in teams or independently with minimal direction.
• Experience with Scrum practices and ceremonies.

Mansioni

• Maintaining existing software code to meet the same standards/criteria as new code.
• Documenting newly implemented features and bug fixes.
• Assisting with and/or performing upgrades, training, and implementation.
• Alpha testing new code.
• Ownership of the full lifecycle of services, including deployment and operation in production.
