Fortidia is seeking a Senior Java Developer at its Milan Headquarter. You will lead Java-based software development, coordinate a small vendor team, and ensure architecture conformity while delivering high-quality solutions.

You will progress toward broader architectural responsibilities within 12–18 months, collaborating with the Software Architect Manager and other tech stakeholders. Strong English and proactive attitude are essential.

Competenze

• Masterfs degree in information technology or similar field.
• Min 7 years of experience in a similar role with a track record in programming.
• Proficient in Java 8 and Java 21, Spring Boot and Quarkus, RESTful and SOAP APIs, OpenShift or Kubernetes, and message brokers like RabbitMQ/Kafka.

• Lead and coordinate development of Java-based software per defined requirements and architecture.
• Provide technical guidance to a small team of external developers and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Translate requirements and guidelines into robust, scalable software implementations.
• Review code and solutions to ensure adherence to standards and security requirements.
• Evaluate technical solutions to address functional and non-functional needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align implementations with architecture and technology stack.
• Support troubleshooting, performance optimization, and issue resolution across the lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and tools.
