Senior Java Developer

Come join us and shape the technological future of Digital Payments! You’ll be part of the AMS Integration Team. You will be involved in a project whose purpose is to provide online and batch connectivity between Account Management and Issuing Systems (core services to manage lifecycle of cards) and other Nexi internal systems, and to manage the connections towards external parties (Issuers, card producers, collection agencies, loyalty partners).

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate professional whose goals will be:

• Design and configure solutions in collaboration with the team, by following and defining development processes
• Deliver high-quality software that fulfills both functional and non-functional requirements
• Coach and mentor other software engineers
• Contribute to the whole development lifecycle, from planning to implementation and testing
• Have a frequent interaction with the external teams

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of experience as a microservices developer based on Java
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Java programming
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with Oracle Database
• Experience with REST and SOAP/XML protocols
• Familiarity with Openshift is a nice to have
• Familiarity with Jenkins is a nice to have
• Familiarity with JUnit is a nice to have
• Familiarity with one or more SOAP Clients (SoapUI/Postman) is a nice to have

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Solid communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Problem solving
