Job summary

Pictet is seeking an experienced investment adviser for a senior, client-facing role in Italy. You will collaborate with CRMs to tailor investment solutions, present the bank’s philosophy, and oversee discretionary and advisory mandates across portfolios.

The role requires deep asset-class knowledge, risk management, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate holds a master-level degree or CFA-related credential, 7+ years of experience, fluent Italian and English, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a post-graduate degree such as a Master’s, MBA, CIIA or CFA would be an advantage
• At least seven years’ investment advisory/management experience; client-facing experience
• Cross asset class experience with bias towards equities, derivatives, structured products; knowledge in alternative investments desired
• Fluency in Italian and English; French is an asset
• Excellent technical knowledge across asset classes and investment vehicles
• Strong portfolio construction, investment processes and risk management understanding
• IT proficiency with relevant software packages and on-line information systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Bloomberg, Avaloq, Profolio)
• Strong client-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent presentation skills
• Proven team player but capable of solo work

Responsibilities

• Communicate the platform’s strategy and solutions to CRMs, clients and prospects
• Identify client needs and develop opportunities with CRMs; prepare investment/advisory proposals and portfolio reviews
• Develop, offer and service discretionary mandates and centralise their management
• Oversee advisory mandates to align with bank strategy and policy
• Support the team head on investment-related tasks
• Understand Pictet’s offering, policies and guidelines; attend investment forums and presentations
• Present and defend the investment philosophy and mandate/product offering
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews for risk controls, compliance and constraints
• Execute and manage trade orders; invest cash positions and manage client transactions
• Understand and attribute performance of advisory/managed portfolios
• Know marketing documents and Group resources
