Job summary

Pictet Group in Lombardy seeks a senior investment professional to communicate the investment platform's strategy to CRMs, clients and prospects and to develop new opportunities with the team. You will manage discretionary mandates, oversee advisory mandates, execute trades and monitor portfolios while leveraging leading tools.

The ideal candidate has seven+ years in investment advisory, strong cross-asset knowledge, excellent presentation skills and fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the investment platform's strategy to CRMs, clients and prospects.

• Oversee advisory mandates and ensure alignment with policy.
• Support the team head on various investment-related tasks.
• Execute and manage trade orders and client transactions.
• Monitor portfolios for risk controls and adherence to constraints.

Your role

• Communicating the investment platform's strategy and solutions to CRMs, clients and prospects.
• Helping determine clients needs, identifying and developing new opportunities in partnership with CRMs, preparing investment/advisory proposals and portfolio reviews and helping convert prospects to clients.
• Developing, offering and servicing discretionary mandates and seeking to centralise their management.
• Overseeing advisory mandates, seeking to streamline positions and exposure and ensuring they remain consistent with the bank's overall investment strategy and policy.
• Supporting the team head overall on various investment-related tasks.

This will entail:

• A full understanding of Pictet's offering, policies and guidelines and attending relevant investment forums and presentations.
• An ability to present and defend the investment philosophy and mandate/product offering.
• Regular reviews of portfolios to monitor adherence to risk controls, compliance and client constraints.
• Executing and managing trade orders.
• Investing cash positions and managing, executing and reviewing client transactions.
• A full understanding and attribution of own advisory/managed portfolios performance.
• Knowledge of all available marketing documents and key resources within the Group.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree and a post-graduate degree such as a Master's, MBA, CIIA or CFA would be an advantage.
• At least seven years investment advisory/management experience; client-facing experience.
• Ideally cross asset class experience with bias towards equities, derivatives, structured products and knowledge in alternative investments would be an additional asset.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken, French is an asset.
• Excellent technical knowledge across asset classes, investment vehicles and the mandate/product offering.
• Excellent understanding of portfolio construction, investment processes and risk management approaches.
• IT-proficient, including knowledge of relevant software packages, on-line information systems, front-end management and order-placing systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Bloomberg, Avaloq, Profolio, etc.).
• Strong client-focused attitude and used to working under pressure.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Proven team player but also able to work on one's own.

Remuneration

• Your annual gross salary ranges from EUR 100'000 to EUR 140'000. Pay level can be influenced by a range of factors, for example role, skills, education and experience. We reserve the right to deviate from this range if your profile justifies it.
• If eligible, the candidate may be awarded a performance-linked bonus, influenced by the employee's and the organisation's performance.
