Intertek, a multinational leader in ATIC services, seeks experienced Fitness-For-Service Mechanical Integrity Engineers for Brownfield EPC modifications and ongoing integrity programs across energy assets. Role involves evaluating existing equipment, aging systems, and in-service degradation to support re-rating, tie-ins, life extension, and defect assessment, with API 579/ASME FFS-1 authority.

Responsibilities include API 579 Level 1/2 assessments, remaining life evaluations, inspection data

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials, Metallurgy, or equivalent (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience performing FFS assessments.
• API 579 training and competency in performing FFS assessments.

Mansioni

• Perform API 579 Level 1 and Level 2 FFS assessments for metal loss, pitting, LTAs, crack-like flaws, dents, gouges, creep, and high-temperature damage on in-service assets.
• Conduct remaining life evaluations and safe operating limit assessments with repair/derating recommendations.
• Interpret inspection and NDT data and correlate findings with damage mechanisms.
• Support Level 3 assessments via stress analysis and FEM tools as needed.
• Evaluate legacy equipment for revamp, tie-in, and re-use during Brownfield EPC projects.
• Prepare detailed FFS reports and engineering justifications for Client Asset Integrity teams.
