This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB offers a multicultural environment with relocation support. We are seeking a (Senior) Integration Automation Engineer for our Group Digital Office, Platforms & Services Department, Integration Division, Integration Platform Services Unit.

This is a full-time, permanent position at grade 5 / 6.

Purpose

Enhance efficiency, speed, and reliability in software delivery by integrating security practices into the development lifecycle and breaking down silos between development and operations teams.

Operating Network

You will report to the Head of Unit, collaborating with Platform Leads and other IT units. The unit manages integration services connecting applications, systems, and data sources for seamless communication.

Accountabilities

• Design and implement CI / CD pipelines
• Automate environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Develop automation for cloud-native services (AWS, Azure)
• Integrate automated testing into pipelines
• Manage automated security testing and ensure compliance
• Provide security training and promote security awareness
• Review technical solutions for consistency with requirements and plans

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science or related field
• At least 5 years in integration automation, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security best practices
• Proficiency with CI / CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Knowledge of API, event streaming, SOA, ESB (nice to have)
• Experience with automation tools (Maven, Gradle, Ansible, etc.)
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, scripting languages (Python, Bash) (nice to have)
• Proficiency in English and / or French, with good command of the other
