This role involves leading consulting projects, managing relationships, and fostering collaboration within the food ecosystem. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in innovation consulting and a passion for the food industry.

Competenze

• 5+ years in innovation consulting or strategy, preferably in food or AgrifoodTech.
• Experience leading consulting projects and managing client engagement.
• Fluency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.

We’re on a mission to identify, empower, and accelerate the next generation of transformative startups—and we need a Senior Innovation & Strategy Consultant with the experience, strategic insight, and passion to drive innovation across Italy.

As a Senior Innovation & Strategy Consultant, you will shape the innovation strategy for the Italian market, identify new business opportunities, and create impactful strategies connecting startups, corporates, and investors. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to build and execute programs that accelerate innovative startups and bring breakthrough ideas to life. Your expertise will help position Eatable Adventures as a leader in Italy’s evolving food ecosystem.

Tasks

1. Lead Innovation & Strategy Consulting Projects: Oversee strategic consulting projects for food companies, ensuring quality execution, client engagement, and business case development.
2. Manage Open Innovation Programs: Coordinate programs with corporate partners, marketing teams, and innovation stakeholders to foster breakthrough solutions.
3. Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Develop strategies and opportunities with corporate innovation teams and industry partners to drive growth and innovation.
4. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and mentor consulting teams, ensuring effective project management and high standards of quality.
5. Business Development & Opportunity Identification: Lead initiatives to expand client relationships and grow Eatable Adventures’ consulting services.
6. Commercial Proposal Development: Create proposals outlining strategic direction, methodologies, outcomes, and budgets aligned with client needs.
7. Product & Service Innovation: Support development of new products/services related to open innovation and strategy consulting.
8. Market Research & Industry Insights: Conduct research to identify trends and emerging needs in food and AgrifoodTech sectors.
9. Stakeholder Collaboration & Ecosystem Engagement: Build relationships with startups, corporates, investors, and innovation hubs to enhance opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience & Background: 5+ years in innovation consulting or strategy, preferably in food or AgrifoodTech sectors.
• Project Management Expertise: Proven experience leading consulting projects, managing work planning and client engagement.
• Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, driving revenue growth.
• Consulting Methodologies & Tools: Familiarity with innovation strategy, open innovation, and business case development methodologies.
• Leadership & Team Management: Experience managing and mentoring teams for effective collaboration and delivery.
• Commercial Proposal Development: Ability to craft proposals outlining strategies, methodologies, and budgets.
• Industry Knowledge & Trend Analysis: Deep understanding of food industry, innovation trends, and emerging technologies.
• Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to convey ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills to develop solutions and address client challenges.
• Tech-Savvy & Tools: Proficiency in project management, CRM, and collaboration tools; familiarity with innovation management software is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
