Vertiv seleziona uno Industrial Engineering Specialist per supportare e migliorare i processi di produzione nelle tre sedi, con focus su manufacturabilità, attrezzature e efficienza operativa.

Il ruolo è interfaccia tecnica tra Manufacturing e R&D e guida iniziative di miglioramento, implementando nuove attrezzature e processi per aumentare produttività e qualità. Richieste competenze in Lean, CAD e ERP, con PFMEA e analisi delle cause radice.

Competenze

• Master’s degree preferita in ingegneria meccanica o industriale.
• Circa 7 anni di esperienza rilevante in ingegneria industriale o produzione.
• Conoscenza approfondita di processi di produzione industriale (la lavorazione lamiera, stampaggio, brasatura, TIG, lavorazioni CNC e assemblaggio).
• Esperienza con 2D/3D CAD e programmazione CNC.
• Conoscenza degli strumenti Lean: P-FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA e Kaizen.
• Familiarità con sistemi ERP come SAP.
• Conoscenza di Microsoft Office.
• Ottime capacità organizzative, problem solving e collaborazione cross-funzionale.
• Buona conoscenza scritta e parlata dell’inglese.

Mansioni

• Supportare l’ottimizzazione di design di prodotto e componenti per migliorare manufacturabilità, qualità ed efficienza dei costi.
• Identificare necessità di modifica o miglioramento di macchinari e attrezzature di produzione.
• Coordinare lo sviluppo, l’allestimento e l’implementazione di nuove attrezzature e macchinari.
• Preparare specifiche tecniche per macchinari, stampi, utensili e attrezzature di test.
• Supportare la progettazione e l’ottimizzazione di stampi, utensili e attrezzature di produzione.
• Preparare e aggiornare documentazione tecnica di produzione, inclusi Standard Work e Work Instructions.
• Supportare modifiche di prodotto e cambiamenti di produzione.
• Eseguire o supportare PFMEA e analisi delle cause radice.
• Guidare miglioramenti relativi a produttività, OEE, qualità e lead time.
• Monitorare e riportare l’efficacia delle azioni di miglioramento implementate.

The Industrial Engineering Specialist is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes across the three production plants, with a focus on manufacturability, equipment, tooling, process robustness and operational efficiency.

The role acts as a key technical interface between Manufacturing and R&D.

Main Responsibilities

• Support optimisation of product and component design to improve manufacturability, quality and cost efficiency.


• Identify needs for modification or improvement of machinery and production equipment.


• Coordinate the development, set-up and implementation of new equipment and machinery.


• Prepare technical specifications for machinery, jigs, tools and testing equipment.


• Support the design and optimisation of dies, jigs, tools and production equipment.


• Prepare and update technical production documentation, including Standard Work and Work Instructions.


• Support product modifications and manufacturing changes.


• Perform or support P-FMEA and root-cause analysis activities.


• Drive improvements related to productivity, OEE, quality and lead time.


• Monitor and report the effectiveness of implemented improvement actions.

Requirements

• Preferably a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.


• Preferably around 7 years of relevant Industrial Engineering or manufacturing experience.


• Strong knowledge of industrial production processes such as sheet metal fabrication, stamping, brazing, TIG welding, CNC machining and assembly.


• Experience with 2D/3D CAD and CNC programming.


• Knowledge of Lean tools including P-FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, PDCA and Kaizen.


• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.


• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.


• Strong organisational, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.


• Good written and spoken English.

The role covers Industrial Engineering activities across all three production plants. xrdbqlu Process Engineering and Time & Methods activities are outside the scope of the position.
