A leading eyewear company in Milan is looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to define the future of smart eyewear. This role requires a blend of design craftsmanship and innovative exploration to create high-quality products. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Industrial Design and has over 7 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include leading the design process, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring junior designers, with a focus on creativity and innovation.

Competenze

• 7+ years in industrial design, ideally in consumer electronics, wearable technology, or premium eyewear.
• Proven ability to deliver products from concept to production.
• Fluent in English, additional languages a plus.

Mansioni

• Own the industrial design process for smart eyewear.
• Lead concept generation and exploratory work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and technical challenges.
• Introduce new tools and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Lead creation of design prototypes for validation.

Conoscenze

Sketching and visualization

Design tools mastery (Rhino, SolidWorks)

Understanding of CMF and manufacturing processes
